Privacy Policy

BingeVerse stores the account information you provide (email address, username, display name, password hash, and optional profile details), along with your library, watch history and dates, ratings, reviews, episode cast votes, follows, dismissed recommendations, notification preferences, and registered notification tokens. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.

We collect data when you create an account, update your profile, track or rate a title, mark something watched, participate in community features, or enable notifications. We use it only to authenticate you, operate and personalize BingeVerse, calculate your stats and recommendations, provide community features, send reminders you request, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability.

BingeVerse uses Railway to host the service and database, TMDB for movie and television catalog data and images, Expo for mobile updates and push-notification delivery, and Google Analytics on the website when analytics is enabled. These providers receive only the information needed to provide their service and are required to protect it. We do not sell personal data and do not use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can initiate full account deletion from Settings on the website or in the mobile app. Your account is disabled immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion after a 48-hour grace period. The final deletion removes the user record and all associated library items, watch history, ratings, reviews, votes, follows, lists, recommendations, notification records and tokens. Limited encrypted infrastructure backups may remain temporarily for disaster recovery and are not used to reactivate deleted accounts.

You can change profile visibility and notification preferences in Settings, disable notification permission in your device or browser, stop using optional community features, and delete your account and data. You may also contact us to ask about access, correction, consent withdrawal, or deletion.

BingeVerse is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal data.
